We do not mean to overwhelm you with information but we want to make sure we keep you all informed. We have been seeing some other gyms starting to open up outdoor training classes in Maryland under the governor’s stay at home amendment of “outdoor fitness instruction”. Some are doing meet ups in parks and parking lots and others seem to be running classes with equipment outside their facilities. Phase One, which we are NOT in yet, stated that gym MAY be able to run “limited outdoor gym and fitness classes”. This language difference of “instruction” vs. “classes” leaves us in a gray area that is difficult to navigate — and we would rather err on the side of safety and await further clarification of the amendment. We want to ensure that we have all our systems and safety protocols in place before we decide to start classes here at the gym or anywhere else.
